• Twenty-four percent of Oklahoma is covered by forest.
• The lowest point in Oklahoma is Little River in McCurtain County, at 289 feet.
• Water covers 1,224 square miles.
• 33.7 million acres are farmland.
• The state has 34 major reservoirs.
• More water is used for irrigation than anything else.
• About 60 percent of surface water is used for drinking water.
• Oklahoma has 11,611 miles of shoreline, more than the combined non-tidal coasts of the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico.
• Oklahoma is the nation's 20th largest state, and it covers 69,903 square miles.
• Cimarron County is the only county in the U.S. that touches four states: Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Kansas.
• Oklahoma has parts of four mountain ranges: Ouachitas, Arbuckles, Wichitas and the Ozarks.
• The world's largest deposit of alabaster is at Alabaster Caverns near Freedom.
